I really wanted this to work. I bought a number of bars and tried it over the course of a few months. The verdict is that it smells great, but makes a poor dish soap. The main problem is that it leaves a waxy layer on everything you wash, requiring a lot of extra rinsing. It will also wind up leaving a thick waxy layer on your sink that will require weekly removal with vinegar. Otherwise it works ok on dished and glasses (with a lot of rinsing) but poorly on pots and pans even if they’re not greasy but especially if they are greasy. If you want all natural dish soap, then you’re better off making your own.

This being said, I love pretty much everything else made by Tandi except for their scouring powder, which is also an epic fail.

It’s a underwhelming performer on greasy dishes, pots and pans.
